Elyra: Eden of Sins v0.1.1 is ready!
Elyra: Eden of Sins v0.1.1 is frozen for release with a stronger first impression, clearer quest pacing, camping in the wilderness, new coherent visuals, lighter assets, and a deep debug pass.
Hi there !
Elyra: Eden of Sins v0.1.1 is ready for release !
This is the third May update beat after Chimera Haven and Love&Life, and this one gives Elyra a much stronger shape before the public launch.
The goal was simple: make the game more attractive when you arrive, easier to understand once you start, and better to return to when you keep your progress for another session.
A stronger first impression
The home screen has been deeply reworked around Elyra herself.
New players now see the heroine, the tone, and the core actions much faster. The screen is less crowded, more visual, and better at saying what kind of dark fantasy RPG you are about to enter.
The character panel also received a redesign so Elyra's visual takes more room, while saves, settings, quests, and ShasteCoins stay easier to reach.
Better pacing inside the game
The early quest flow was cleaned up so the game does not throw too many new objectives at once.
Only one new quest is pushed forward at a time, while active quest steps remain visible. This makes the first hour calmer, clearer, and easier to follow.
Longer text blocks were also split into shorter dialogue beats. Elyra should now feel more readable on desktop and mobile, with less wall-of-text pressure and more room for choice rhythm.
Wilderness, camping, and visuals
Exploration now introduces the camping kit earlier, so players can camp when they first start pushing into the wilderness.
There is also a new morning event around the kit, with a chance that rough travel damages it. It gives camping a little more texture and makes preparation matter.
On the visual side, v0.1.1 integrates new story and wilderness images, replaces several placeholder-style scenes with more coherent art, and keeps the remaining visual needs tracked through the art request pipeline.
Freeze quality pass
This freeze also includes a deep debug pass across the game.
Image links, merge issues, missing assets, cell behavior, translations, quest visibility, and build assets all got another check before release.
Elyra is still growing, but v0.1.1 should feel much more confident: a cleaner first impression, a smoother early loop, more coherent visuals, and a better base for the next dark fantasy updates.
Open Elyra from the game page, keep your ShasteGames progress connected, and tell me what feels best or still needs work after this pass.
Hope you'll love it,
See you !
